• Cedar and Judy! Hi there! So glad to see your messages. We need to get this place moving again, right?
Cedar, I want you to know that you're in my thoughts as you are facing these bumps in the road. And Judy I'm thinking of you too, and hope all is well at your house.
    Hello to All!
    Doris

  • Hi Helen, Doreen, Judy and Cedar and anyone else who is around! So much to do right? I've been weeding, planting, mulching and all that kind of stuff these nice days, and still lots to do. Just can't work as hard as I did in my younger years.

Judy, so sorry about your brother, it just doesn't seem like it has been 6 months. Take good care of yourself.

A pair of wrens have built a nest between the wreath and the house near the front door, so we try to steer clear of there till the babies come. Lots of robins and red birds around too with nests. Nice to sit on the deck and watch nature when we have the time!

    God Bless!
    Doris

  • Hi Doreen! I too have been thinking about Cedar, hope all is okay and moving along well.

I have ordered some interesting seeds but looking at feedback, which I should have done first, I'm doubting that I'll ever get them. I'm ready to get out and do yard work but still has been too wet. Just now had another hard shower, so there goes today! Of course there is always plenty to do right here in the house! Have a nice weekend!

    Doris

  • Cedar! I stop by here frequently hoping to see you....sorry to hear about health problems....I'm keeping you in my prayers. Take good care, and as Helen says be sure to let us know how you are. This place hasn't been the same without your posts!

Helen, hello to you too, hope you are okay. This place has been too quiet, wonder why?

    Think Spring Everybody!!

    Doris

  • Good Morning! Wow, where is everybody? Last post on Nov 3 which must be a record lull.
Hope all are well, great day here, I'm off to a craft show.

  • Good Morning Max! You and I are the only "drifters" this morning and at about the same time too. Nice to see you. Hope the hurricane heads out to sea. Take care!

    Doris

  • Good Saturday Morning!
Max, I stop by here often but usually nobody home.
I always have a stack of books from the library waiting. Mostly nonfiction, but lately Dorothea Benton.
But now the vacuum cleaner calls, must get busy.
    Great weekend to all!

  • Thanks Helen! Yes, I did sell a few of them on Amazon last April. Love their "sell yours here". The young man next door was interested in the remaining box so they're now in his hands.

Did you find any information about your fish mugs? I think I have a restaurant ware price guide. (If I haven't already tossed that too!) Will go take a look. Thanks again for your input.
    Doris

  • Thanks Helen, I appreciate your advice. It kills me to get rid of books, any books!

    Doris

  • On second thought the Russian books are going to the dump. I would hate to see disappointment were someone to open a large box only to see they are all Russian!
I just returned what was supposed to be a Coach wallet. Fakes are sure out there. Beware! This will teach me to look at feedback. First! Have a good rest of the day all.
    Doris

  • Oh JUDY, what a great idea! I should be so organized! Three DDs still have books here too, including a box of Russian literature books that I just uncovered. EEK! Gotta get the charity truck back out here for sure!

  • Hi Max, I'm lurking for a few minutes this afternoon. Just finished getting boxes and boxes of books ready to donate tomorrow. Kills me to part with them. My Grandma had some of those larger sized saucers that she put over her coffee to keep it warm. You nudged my mem'ry.

    Happy Birthday to Lou!

  • Love that Red Wing pattern, lucky you MAX, love the cups! Thanks for jogging my brain, sure these little things are butter pats! Now if I could remember where the rest of them are.

Hi Cedar, happy stitchin'! Stop for a coffee and oreo break and I will too.

  • Max, I found a few small plates tucked away (coasters maybe) 3 and 1/2 " in diameter white stoneware, Sterling China Company, marked in red in the center with the United States Army Medical Department logo. Sturdy, like restaurant ware. Think it also says East Liverpool, would that be Ohio?

My DH loves Oreos, but wants the plain old ones. Last week I was amazed at all the different flavors there are, mint, cocoa, coconut, double stuff, chocolate stuff. Just one tiny section devoted to the original. Yep I love to dunk them too!

You're right, I don't see Allie's post. As I scroll down I see plenty of mine, I don't want to monopolize this space. Sorry if I am.
    Dori

  • MIM, So sorry about the dismal book sales that I'm sure involved lots of your time and work. Yesterday I spent an hour looking at final sales on ebay and it wasn't good. In the old days I remember a Stangl bird that I had picked up at auction for fifty dollars (had a chipped wing) and it sold for over three thousand dollars. Folks thought I was crazy for paying 50 bucks for it. The only books that I feel I could part with now are the price guide books that I haven't consulted for years.

  • ALLIE, Will send you pictures when I know that you're home again. Stay well!

    Dori

  • Just added a post and drat I lost it. MAX, I just wanted to thank you for the restaurant ware info. A friend who has a booth in an antique mall told me that they don't see much of it anymore. And speaking of books, I know I must downsize my book collection, but as I scan them I'm finding it very hard to donate any of them. There isn't a room in this house, 4 bedrooms, family room, living room, DH's office and my sewing room also boxes in the basement, that do not house books. None are in the dining room. Yet! I did run across one yesterday, "The French" by Theodore Zeldin that I'm skimming today. Some chapters are interesting, others not so much.

Oh ALLIE, just noticed your post below! Glad to hear the root canal went well. And you can call me anything, Doris, Dori or even tutu! Always nice to hear from you. By the way, I love the new kitchen, DH is still having trouble adjusting to all the new appliances however. I do have pictures. Somewhere!

Hello to all, have a great weekend!

    Dori

  • Max, by any chance is Inca Ware Shenango considered restaurant ware? I can only find one piece here, should be more. This is a dessert dish, cream background with dark red flowers and trim. Just wondering if this is restaurant ware. I screwed up my digital this morning or I would post a picture.
    Doris

  • Hi Max, nice to see you! Great idea Cedar, "Don't Look Ethel!" Funny, can imagine that was a real traffic stopper! Lots of photos taken I'm sure.

Isaac has been very good to us here in St. Louis area. Started with a couple of nice slow rain showers then developed in to some much needed serious rain.

Max, you mentioned Weil Ware, a friend gave me a large vase several years ago in the Bamboo pattern and I just love it! I had forgotten the name but took down the vase from the mantel after reading your post, and sure enough it is marked Weil Ware.

Hope you all are having a good weekend!

    Doris

  • Hi Cedar! Nice to hear from you, don't understand why this room is largely vacant. I stop by usually once a day, nobody home.

So sorry that you've been having health problems. A new baby in the family, that's great news.

Take care! Oh by the way a really cute picture. You, grandaughter?

  • Hi MAX! Took me a couple of tries to get here too because I forgot my password, also remembered that the - mark in my user name doesn't work. Otherwise didn't have trouble. Too bad that folks are so scarce here. Very hot and dry here this summer. Lots of crops lost, so sorry for the farmers.

  • Thanks ginnyrose, unfortunately I just heard that Splash and Jo didn't win this time. Thanks for watching!

  • Good Morning!

I have a favor to ask please? Would you look at the link below and vote for
our friend and her mule Splash? This is a video of Splash going through some
    of her antics.
When you get to the video they are, I believe, the third picture on the
    left, name is Splash.
Thank you so much.....these are our friends in Montana who participated in
"Mule Days". Deadline for voting is tonight at I believe 7PM.

  • And what is so rare as a day in June?
    Then, if ever, come perfect days;

  • MAX! Good to see you, Happy Mother's Day! And also to alla the rest of you guys! Doreen, I hope this all works out well for you!
Beachgirl, Good to see ya dropping by.

    Dori

  • Good Morning!

MIM, I usually check in here once a day, nobody home! The Book board is usually active I see, haven't checked the others.

What are you all reading these days? I'm wading through the new Madeline Albright book right now. It seems very long and detailed, but I'll finish it. Have also read most of Mary Alice Monroe books in the last couple of months.

Hello to All! Tell us what's happenin'! MIM and I want to know!

    Doris

  • Hi Max!

I check this place often, but never anyone here. They can't ALL still be doing "spring plowin", or can they?

Anyway, hope all is well with you!

    Dori

  • Hi MIM So sorry to hear that you've been under the weather. Coumadin levels can be so unpredictable, fine one day and way off the next! Hope all of this will soon be history, sorry too about gout, you've really had your share of Ouchies this Spring. Are you familiar with Carmel, IN? I have a friend who regretfully just moved away from there to be closer to family.

CEDAR Nice to see you back, so sorry that you also have been having health problems! Get better soon so you can get out in that garden and grow some good stuff! Right?

    Dori

  • Hi Mim! Hope your foot is okay by now? This is a very quiet place, but I just read a heart warming post on the AB that I had to mention. You would enjoy it too I'm sure. Nice one Bama!

  • MIM and Beachgirlbaby, Happy Easter to you too, hope all is well with you and your families.

  • MIM, how are you! Doncha just love this time of year? Neighbor's lilac bush is gorgeous this year, maybe because of the mild winter, at any rate I'm hoping he'll offer me a bouquet! Our knock out rose is covered with buds and crabapple tree is blooming so life is good!
Cardinals are singing their little hearts out, busy building nests in the evergreen trees around the house.

  • Sure MIM! Always happy to share good cookies. They are excellent, thanks for the tip!
Makes my DH's face light up when there are goodies in the kitchen.

    'Nite All!

    Dori

  • Good Morning! Looks like a great day to get outdoors and poke around with a rake.
    Aah Spring

MIM, Those cookies sound delicious, thanks for the tip. Will stir up a "batch" of those this afternoon using the strawberry jam I have.

    Where is everybody? Take care!

  • Hi MIM!
I just had a lengthy post and was timed out, so I'll have to make this quick! Do you think everyone else is doing spring cleaning? It sure is quiet here, but you and I could have a cuppa and I have plenty of cookies.
Yep, I'm tired of the election stuff too. Did you see old Newt napping yesterday? I thought it was funny...he had to "snap to" in a hurry, but was still befuddled me thinks!
I love your post about the squirrel in your sugar maple tree, lovely!
    Dori

  • Mopboards! That's the word I was trying to recall. Thanks MAX! JAN, I remember the LAW LAW, and also PSHAW. When my beloved Gramma would say Ach Du Lieber I knew it was something serious...

  • Hi MIM, I was told to save dryer lint to throw out in the Spring to help birds feather their nests. I have a quart jar of it ready to go. Everything's early this year, woke this morning to birds singing and sunshine. So now will get on with chores. Lots of stuff waiting to be tended to. Good Morning to ALL!

  • Hi Everybody! Don't have time to scroll, but was just reading an article in the Wall Street Journal that reminded me of a chat we all had here some time ago about "baseboards". Remember? I think it was Max who called them something else and I'm trying to recall what it was. Must be in the Dictionary of American Regional English that was just reading about. The fuzzy things that collect under your bed, and what do you call them? In these parts we call them "dust bunnies", some other areas "frog hair". What do you all call them? Doris2

  • ALLIE, G'Nite, sweet dreams! We had a very quiet weekend here, football on in the background as DH watched before he fell asleep.

MIM, Hi, how are you? We had lots of fog here this morning during drive time, then by early afternoon beautiful blue skies, and now this must be a full moon?

    G'Nite ALL!

    Dori ; )

  • Hi Everybody! I had a long (longer) post last night, but lost it and now I've waited too long to do it over, but just wanted to wish all y'all a good weekend. We're having a very nice rain tonight. Love to listen to rain as I drift off to dreamland.

ALLIE, Sure, I go by Dori often so that would be wonderful especially since we already have a Doris. Wish we would hear more from her. And yes, I love the blue flower too!

MAX, I like dishes too, fun to hear what you're finding! I also loved Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, but didn't have the lunch box.

I'd better sign off before I get timed out again like last night! Dori ; )

  • Hello Everyone! Wow, it's February. January saw us without a kitchen, but today, since 2 days after Christmas, we have a beautiful new kitchen and I'm so happy. Would I do it again? I guess, but we're sooo weary.
Unseasonably warm weather here like a lot of the rest of the country. And that's okay.
Nice to see you again Allie, we've missed you! Hey to alla the rest of you too! Doris ; )

  • CEDAR, Great to see you back! So glad the knee is doing better. You were missed here!

MIM, Loved reading about your Christmas, and about sweet baby Caroline. At 7 months she must be a real sweetie!

Happy New Year to Cedar, Mim, Max, Judy, Doreen, Allie, and ALL!......

    Doris

  • Wishing you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Max, Yes, I agree, we have this lovely new site and not many participants.....maybe posts will pick up after the New Year.

84 how nice, it was 29 here when I got up this morning. Now we're waiting on daughter's flight to get in from Atlanta. We're hoping for a little snow later in the week!

    My best to All!

    Doris

  • Hiya Judy! No I just made one batch of cookies that thankfully didn't burn. The pecans were for my son in law, drat.

Doreen, by the way, these are very easy to make!

  • Doreen, I would be happy to share the recipe with you. Should I post it here, or send it to you via email? Oh well here goes: Just watch carefully after you turn them so they don't burn like mine did!

    Spiced Pecans

    1 egg white
    2 tbs cold water
    1/2 cup sugar
salt to taste (about 1/2 tsp)
    1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp allspice
    1/8 tsp ground cloves
    4 cups pecan halves

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine everything but the nuts and mix well. Pour over the nuts and stir gently to be sure everything is well coated. Let rest 15 minutes. Turn out in a single layer on a greased baking pan (with low sides) and bake for 30 minutes. Carefully turn the nuts with a spatula and bake another 30 mins. Let cool, break apart and store in sealed containers. These keep for months.

  • Bama, I'm not sure if you pop in here or not, but wanted to tell you how we all adore your spiced pecan recipe. Have been making them for 2 or 3 years now.

Well doggone it, I had a large pan of them in the oven last night, a phone call, and yep, they burned! Managed to salvage a few, they'll be my own treat later today!

  • My goodness where is everybody? No posts for 6 days! I know, I know, we're all busy, busy, baking, shopping, tree trimming!

  • Good Morning to All! Last day of November and where is everybody??? Our webmaster was kind enough to set this up for us but no one ever seems to be "at home". I know we're all busy, but we should try to check in once in a while! Right?

Busy day here today, and hurray, the sun is shining! Hope alla youse are okay, just holiday busy? Judy is busy with trees, others making cookies? I haven't started either, just agonizing over kitchen the redo.

Hi Doreen! When I was a kid we would go to Grandma's house on the farm and pick out a tree. There was a gorgeous blue spruce there, but we weren't allowed to cut that one down. Ever! They're such beautiful trees I couldn't say that I blamed her. It wasn't until I became older that I understood their value, especially in these parts.

Take care all, and here comes December with all its surprises. Weather that is. Doris

  • Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to Max, Lou, MIM, Judy, Jan, Allie, Cedar, Ginnyrose, Doreen, B4.......Some of you guys are missing in action, but have a good day wherever you are!! Doris

  • Max, We have a real good GC here too, but haven't made it out lately to see the chocolate tower. Not sure where our friends plan to go on Thursday.....guess it's supposed to be a surprise, and that's okay.

Really, we need our heads examined. One small thing that needed changing in the kitchen looks like will be an all out remodel, and at this time of year, eek! This is to start in 2 weeks so will do what baking I plan to do this week. I'm a little short in the energy department so better have my Wheaties!

Lots of folks missing here, Jan, Cedar, Doris, Allie. Where are you guys?

    Doreen, Happy Belated Birthday!

Mim, So glad to hear you are feeling better!

And Judy! How many trees did you say? I'll do well to drag out my old Martha Stewart white feather tree, that I'm sure isn't as "white" as it was 6 or 7 years ago! DH would like us to get a real tree this year. With all the remodel going on whatever we have probably will be covered in sawdust!

Happy weekend to All! Do you all get flu shots? I'm debating, usually we don't. Doris#2

  • mim, So sorry, just take good care of yourself! Good that your kids are taking care of things for you and all you have to do is to "be there".
We're going out with friends who have made reservations, destination unknown! Probably somewhere in St. Louis. Take good care of yourself and hope to see you back here soon!

  • mim, how nice, not sure I've seen any of those. We have a holly tree that sprang up about 6 years ago that we're enjoying just outside our kitchen window. Growing slowly, but nicely shaped about 6 feet tall now. 70 degrees today, downright balmy, tho too warm for this time of year.

  • Wow Mim that must be beautiful, would love to see it! Do you do the resting period thing so it will bloom in December? I just didn't get around to "dark closeting" mine this year, but we do have lots of blooms now, so will call it a Thanksgiving Cactus. DD left her orchids here a couple of years ago, and I've managed to kill all but one of them and it has been blooming for months now in spite of me.....

  • Mim, Does your fern ever get potbound? The last time I had to repot it I said never again and threw it out, pot and all. Those roots are unbelievable! All of my Christmas cacti are blooming now, because I failed to "rest" them in a dark place in September so they'd bloom in December. Some of them are quite old and still flourishing, otherwise I don't have much of a green thumb. Do want to get tulip bulbs in the ground before the end of the month tho. Is that Jasper's picture? I love yellow kitties! Doris2

  • Good Morning All!
Yes, wasn't that a gorgeous moon last night?

Max, Thanks for asking, his eye is doing fine now, but yes drops three times a day is a drag cuz you know who has to put them in! At least he doesn't have to wear the eye patch any longer.

Doreen, b4, Max and Lou. Wishing you all a good weekend! Got cold here last night, the last of the geraniums froze.

Lou, good luck with your sale. Sounds like you've worked really hard getting ready!

  • b4, Hi, I remember you from the other board. Nice to see you again. You must be a wonderful grandparent, doing a great job handling all the challenges you face every day......I admire you very much! This was one time that the dog didn't eat the homework, right?

Doreen, good to see you too, love your "pitcher".

  • Good Morning! Good to see some action here again.

MAX, Hi, October was such a busy month, lots of company and things to do in the yard. Last week was fun, daughter from S Carolina drove up with her little bischon and helped sort through "stuff" in the basement. Lots of fun with her here during the World Series too, rooting for the Cards. How about that Freese?

We counted about 100 little trick or treaters on Halloween. None of my favorite candy left. But that's a good thing!

DH had cataract surgery Thursday, and he's fretting about how he looks.....bloodshot eyes, bruising etc. I say that's okay, we're still going to the Bluegrass concert tonight.

Happy Weekend to All! Don't forget to "Fall Back" tonight or you'll be an hour early for church!

Where in the world is Cedar, Allie, and a few others I'm not seeing here?

  • Hey Lou! I think your creams and lotions are great. Good luck with your sale this weekend!

    Darling baby picture too! You?

Hello to all you other ACers! Nice to see you back ALLIE....

  • Hi Mim...You live in Indiana? We've been to French Lick a few times and love it down there. Next time hopefully in the Spring, have always gone in October. Beautiful! Our leaves here are not going to have much color this year.....just brown and dropping. Very dry here all summer.

  • Lou! Glad you still have the lavender stuff, love it!

Max, Eek about the crickets doing all that damage, were they still in the folds, dead, or had they moved on to die with bellies full of plastic? Guess I hadn't thought about what they might find to snack on down in our basement. (I actually call it the he** hole)! Ham salad is a good sign your DH is feeling better. Good for you both, right? Not good when DH's are feelin puny. Gotta get ready for church, don't know where the day has gone, and I was going to get so much done. Didn't happen.....

Really got cool here last night, furnace is running today.

  • MIM, I luv your yellow kitty, and yes isn't it amazing how quickly spiders spin their webs! We have a cricket in the basement that is staying well hidden but sure is noisy.

Good weekend to all! Moving right along to October, where did September go!!

LOU! I didn't see you down there. So sorry to hear about the brother-in-law. Hope you are well.

  • Sorry to hear that sales are so slow for you guys. Takes lots of time to do pictures, descriptions, fees, etc., and then no bids. So disappointing.....

Judy, they're doing second phase clinical trials here now, however I'm not ready to commit yet.

And, you go ahead and ramble, always interesting. We all love hearing about your life!

  • Max, good to see you! Oh those mem'ries of Home Ec, right? Not sure why, but I didn't take Home Ec. But do remember Physics and Chemistry. Loved Shorthand, guess kids now wouldn't know what that is, but still after all these years I still like to sit and write stuff in Shorthand. You probably never made another skirt? Glad you got a B. You deserved it, darts are hard for beginners!

That must have been some infection you had. Guess I missed your story on that. Glad that the Dr. gave you good news. DH is taking meds for mem'ry problems......not doing much for him. Bad times ahead.

I've never watched Dancing With The Stars, but to make a friend happy I'm watching, or I should say I have had it on for the last 2 evenings. Did want to see Nancy Grace last night, don't know how the show works, but if I heard correctly someone will be eliminated tonight?

    Sweet Dreams to All!

  • Judy-When I was still sewing a trip in to the city (St. Louis) to JoAnn fabrics was a big deal. No longer there, in fact didn't they go out of business altogether? Anyway the one I frequented is long gone.

A new Wal-Mart opened in our town back in February and as yet I haven't been there, but did see their ad in the paper that fabric was back in stock.

Yep, I'm still taking all 12 of those stairs one at a time making sure I have a good grip on the bannister. DH is a good "fetcher", don't know what I'd do without him since my laundry room is down there. Have a sewing room there too, sewing machine at the ready, but no users! I did sew buttons on a few of DH's shirts. Too much girth there in the middle will do that to a person!

Cedar, DH is still so draggy. Maybe just old age!

Where's Jan, Allie and all the other nice folks?

    Take good care y'all!

  • MIM, You and I each have 3 daughters! Yep, I made all of their little dresses, also the prom dresses. There was one bridesmaid's dress that was a pattern from he**, and that was the last thing I ever made from scratch. I was so upset about that dress not turning out well, but remember that my daughter's looked better than the other 4 bridesmaids dresses. Our youngest daughter pieces beautiful quilt tops, but doesn't have much time to quilt them, and is too particular to let any of the church ladies do it, and our church ladies do beautiful work.

Looks like you and I are the only ones at home today!

  • MIM, Do you ever do counted cross stitch? I did a lot of that in the late 80's and early 90's, some of it professionally framed and am now agonizing over what to keep and what to get rid of. Some has already hit the trash bag as I'm furiously downsizing now that I'm able to get down the basement steps again to go through "stuff!"

  • Max-I agree with Cedar, was reading from the bottom up and thought oh my gosh, she's daiting?? ? I'm sure you already have a "keeper"! I've got a good one too, he's always in a great mood, even these days when he isn't feeling well. By the way your supper sounds delish to me too!

DH had the cataract surgery on the 8th, but just his luck that he isn't feeling well. I think there might be something else going on healthwise, not related to the cataract removal. The surgeon was worried going in because it was a large one so he was wise to have a retina specialist standing by just in case. But all went well and I'm keeping a close eye on him.

Just ordered a made to measure Roman Shade for the new kitchen window. Wow are they expensive......should go back to making my own! But sewing is just something I don't want to tackle anymore. Do any of you sew? Are you still stitchin Cedar?

Wishing all you guys and gals a good weekend, I'm off to do a little yard work.

    Doris tutu

  • Yes on that toy Beatles guitar, I had to add that one of the strings had been replaced with fishing wire. Made no difference, the buyer loved it. Haven't checked on Beatles collectibles for a long time.

In the early days Stangl was also a big deal and sold a rare bird (chicken hawk, osprey) for lotsa bucks. I have no idea or desire to re-learn how to post an item these days. But it was sure fun back in the early days.

  • Just stopping by and happy to see we have some messages here. And all you guys getting rain, please blow some this way. Everything has dried up here, looks terrible. But the poor Texans are really in trouble with the wild fires. We keep in touch with friends who live near Austin and she says its horrific down there.

I guess my best sale on ebay was a toy Beatles guitar that was bought at a garage sale for 5 dollars, and it sold for $5500. But the box it came in went for $6000. Those were fun days, '98 and '99. I still like old advertising cards, but not actively collecting.

DH is having cataract surgery on Thursday so we've been doing preliminary chores. Just happens that this will also be his birthday! He has put this off way too long, folks keep telling him there's nuthin to it, but he's chicken.....
Take care, and hang in there everybody!

  • Well, I had a longer message but lost it along the way. The bottom line is that I no longer feel married to any of my treasures, except for books and jewelry. I sold lots of stuff back in the late 90's. We're trying to downsize so no more shopping.....but it's hard to stay away from those antique malls!

  • Mim, Good Morning! Wow, you're right, this place is too too quiet

  • I agree, good to have you back as Cedar! I like to put okra vegetable soup at the last minute so it doesn't get too squishy. Good stuff!
Mim, I don't think we've met, but I must say I like the close up of Bubba. Wonderful dogs!

I watch the pickers in those gosh awful places too, and those boys do love the metal signs. I don't know how they do on eBay. I'm sure there was a time when they were hot hot hot, but methinks those days are over, sad to say........Doris2

  • There's B4! Hi There! Try some fried okra at Cracker Barrel, and I'll bet you'll be hooked. It's really very good.
Oh Cedar, I've just caught on. You're baglady now? Naaa!
    Doris2

  • There's Wilburr, sorry I didn't see you down there. Hope all is well with you!
    Doris2

  • Curt! Thank you so much! I couldn't have done it without you. One of these days I'll learn to read directions!

Looks like a rainy Saturday here, we do need it badly. The young man painting our fence is probably happy to go home too!

This looks like a great new place to talk to friends! So sorry that Lucy won't be here to join us, she always brought a smile.

Have a good weekend all! And many thanks Curt!
