Just added a post and drat I lost it. MAX, I just wanted to thank you for the restaurant ware info. A friend who has a booth in an antique mall told me that they don't see much of it anymore. And speaking of books, I know I must downsize my book collection, but as I scan them I'm finding it very hard to donate any of them. There isn't a room in this house, 4 bedrooms, family room, living room, DH's office and my sewing room also boxes in the basement, that do not house books. None are in the dining room. Yet! I did run across one yesterday, "The French" by Theodore Zeldin that I'm skimming today. Some chapters are interesting, others not so much.
Oh ALLIE, just noticed your post below! Glad to hear the root canal went well. And you can call me anything, Doris, Dori or even tutu! Always nice to hear from you. By the way, I love the new kitchen, DH is still having trouble adjusting to all the new appliances however. I do have pictures. Somewhere!
