    Doreen, I would be happy to share the recipe with you. Should I post it here, or send it to you via email? Oh well here goes: Just watch carefully after you turn them so they don't burn like mine did!

    Spiced Pecans

    1 egg white
    2 tbs cold water
    1/2 cup sugar
    salt to taste (about 1/2 tsp)
    1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp allspice
    1/8 tsp ground cloves
    4 cups pecan halves

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine everything but the nuts and mix well. Pour over the nuts and stir gently to be sure everything is well coated. Let rest 15 minutes. Turn out in a single layer on a greased baking pan (with low sides) and bake for 30 minutes. Carefully turn the nuts with a spatula and bake another 30 mins. Let cool, break apart and store in sealed containers. These keep for months.
