Hello Max! You know, I recall the words "Law,Law" when I was a chile and never knew that was actually "Lawd, Lawd". Lots of things the older folks said made no sense to me, but we repeated it anyway. Where is Cedar? She could tell some tales along that line. Wonder how retirement is treating her?
The only thing I know about Cincinnati is that we used to go thru there on our way from Cleveland to God's country (the south). ha. Don't recall ever stopping other than grabbing a bite or gasoline. Our weather is definitely changing and you can smell Spring in the air. Brings a big grinN. Neat story about your little pooch! I have one of those Schnicky (I think it is) that is real sticky. Roll that under the bed and it picks up everything but money.
Doreen, hang in there. As you know, there are folks that collect everything you can think of and the old Valentines should go. I used to be very active selling but age and arthritis took over and it got to be too much trouble. Good luck!
Doristutu: Another thing to put out are little pieces of yarn. I put little pieces of bright colored yarn and fluff in the yard on bushes or small trees where they are easy to find. The birds are really active now and preparing for a new year.
Got one of those memory foam mattress toppers and boy what a difference. Both DH and I are sleeping so well and comfy. Our regular mattress is so firm and I have back trouble, it really gave me fits. Now I could SELL those mattess toppers. Thats how impressed we are. Do not want the heavy foam/gel mattresses cause you cannot turn them over. We have only had it two nights, so I will let you know in a few months if I still feel the same! ha. BTW, normally I wake and get up about 6 or 7 with a painful back. Yesterday and today I woke up around 9 fully rested! Oh what a feeling.
Off to get chores accomplished. Hello to you all, hope to see you again soon. ~~Jsan

Golly Bum! I cannot believe you guys have flowers coming up. That would be a welcome sight. On the text thang, we do not have it on our cell phones. AT&T told me they stopped that service and the charges kept coming. It took three months and trips to one of their offices to really get it stopped. So now the text messages do not come thru. If we get them, we don't know about it. These phone companies will charge you for every teensy little thing if you let 'em.
MIM: We do not have any daffodils showing their heads yet. I will be dancing a bit when that happens. Never been to your area but I sure hear about the Indy 500! ha.
Our feral cat has been in his last battle I fear. He came to the door yesterday with an eye almost closed. His ears look like lace he has been batted so much. I expect he is on his last days. He has been coming round to eat for years, and I named him Skitter. he has six toes and is fearful of everyone. Neighbor farmer says he is going to start charging us for non support. He has lots of six toed kittens every so often running in and out of his barn! I always wanted to trap Skitter and have him fixed, but he won't get close at all. He does love to meow and talk to me, but steers clear when I start outside with his food. He must be a tough old bird as I do not see any other feral cats in his area.
I have relatives in Dallas and love to visit there. Living in those temps takes tough cowboys and cowgirls! My inlaws lived there until they passed away and I remember even tho they had a lawn sprinkler, the ground would still split and was hard as stone! Their grass was like straw. Was unusual to us. Its hot in Texas let me tell you.
Does Doris (the O) ever stop in here? We need Judy to be our ambassador and get more posting! Perhaps many do not know how to get here? I am sure Allie has passed the word along, or tried. We need to party!!
Who here has the Kindle Fire? Can you pass along hints to me? I have the directions but am scared to death of these new fangled things. I just do not understand a lot about it. They shouldn't allow old folks to have that sort of thing, ha.

Hello old & new friends! Been a long time, thought I would check in here to see how it is going. I guess we are still pouting about the old AC Board being gone with the wind. So many that we will never hear from again, and hope they are well and happy. Guess we will continue to wonder....
Allie: Glad things are getting back to some semblance of order with you and the family. Know the Ggirls are helping you over the loss of your mom. Hope Tomcat is doing OK.
Judy: Did you ever get those trees down? ha. Did you share the news about your big sale? You still get the award, girl friend.
Doreen: Hope things worked out OK for you with that scam. One never knows with this new electronic world. I am just too old to try to learn new things. I got a Kindle Fire and laptop (hear that Allie?) and was petrified to touch either for about a month! LOL.
Helen: Thanks for the St Paddy's Day greeting to all. I was married on that day so it has a special meaning for me. 40 years ago this year! I know sainthood is waiting for me. DH says it is waiting for HIM. heheheh
Mim: Are you in AZ? I am so jealous of your flowers and springtime. Its still cold here in SE Ohio, and it will be a long time before we see any real green and flowers. Spring is my fave time of year with new life everywhere. We are on a farm and I love watching the birds so very busy in early spring making their nests. One keeps coming back each year (at least I think its the same one) and makes a nest up on the awning side just outside my window here in this room. I think she feels safe with me as I don't make any fast moves! ha. I look forward to seeing her soon when Mr Snowman leaves for the year.
DORIS: What? No more TuTu? That fits you so nicely. Hope you have been well. I miss chatting with you & others.
Max: Where are you? Back home or back to Fla? Guess I am behind the times, hope all is well at your place.
Gotta run and get chores done before my bubbly. Is MD still around? Everyone have a nice night, pull that blankie up under your chin and stay warm. Niters~~~jsan

LOL. I am enjoying those stories about the good old ebay days! I had so many goodies that I can't remember any specifics except for a little world globe (metal) that i picked up for 10 cents at a thrift store. I cannot remember specifics, but it sold for a fantastic price because of the date and other particulars such as country name changes etc. Seems like everything sold for good prices back then. THOSE were the days of making a living off ebay sales. Course being involved with the boards was doubly exciting as others shared in your success.
MIM: Oh how I can empathize with you on the old days on the farm. DH and I are getting to the point that we cannot do the required maintenance here. Its so sad to see the sagging fences, gates and the place being overgrown. He was so particular with things until lately. We came from the city and I trust I will never have to move there again!
Our JUDY is probably the best ebay sales person, ever. Her descriptions & pics are unequaled. She always has quality and she is honest. She should be on the ebay staff!
DORISTUTU: Love the story about the guitar! How lucky can one get? BTW, I have had both eyes done and the worst part is having to put the drops in afterward! No pain. After he has one done, he will wait with bated breath until the other one is done. I was so thrilled because I only have to use glasses to read. Actually I see better now all the time. Its a definite GO.
JUDY: Your bus will live forever in my memory. That was something and we used to get up each day and run to the computer to watch the sale. Talk about guts! I would never have even tried such a thing. You should have some sort of ebay award, girl friend!
Our kitchen tile was installed yesterday and it is beautiful. I tried to do pics but they are so dark cause the tile is light and being next to the hardwood floor. Maybe i will figger it out. Its quite a change covering the hardwood in the kitchen but will be so much easier for this old body to keep clean. We both just love it and sorry we waited so long.
Where is ALLIE? Hope all is well down there in CA. Miss her and hope she returns soon. MD must be lost in his manhole. Wonder how long it will take before ebay gets wise and realizes how much they will lose (not only in monies) by closing the boards? Hopefully someone with some smarts will come along with a sledge hammer and wise the powers that be to wake up.
Hello to everyone not mentioned and love each and every one of the ebay sccess stories! Keep em coming.~~~jsan

Hello all, it is good to feel Fall in the air. Course we could do with a little less rain, but some folks got lots more that we are getting so I will keep my mouth shut.
Sitting here waiting for tile installers getting more upset as the clock ticks away. We have waited over a month for this particular type to come in, and expected theguys to be here early today. Everything for the kitchen is dragged out into the hall and dining room. Need I say it was made in China like everything else today! Grrrrr as CONNIE says.
CEDAR: Sorry you are having so much trouble with the pic. I am sure it is because you are in a dither about ebay and all their changes. Use the AC Board motto (Let me try that again) and it will work out! Thimbles are a neat hobby, and at least they do not take up lots of room. I have given up all my collections mostly. DH takes up where I left of. He never tosses anything. I think he has his First Communion money somewhere. 😉
MAX: Guess you will be in the south for good now? Too much bad luck this past year. Hurry and get back on your schedule. The leaves are turning and they are so beautiful. But that means the snow will start too soon. Time for my hibernation then.
MIM: Sounds like you live on a farm too. Its getting to be a lot for us to handle but we are hanging in. Nothing like living with Mother Nature and smelling that fresh air. Always look forward to the first freeze so DH doesn't have to cut all that grass.
Hey to everyone and still so thankful to Curt for the boards. JUDY can tell you a horror story about losing really good contacts when a chat board went under. Youall take care, stay dry and count your blessings. Lots of folks still missing here, hope that changes soon.~~~~jsan

MIM: Bubba looks adorable. I love doggies. Lost ours years ago and my heart still aches for him so I know your hurt. Can't bear to get another.
MAX: DH has to watch me and keep me outta thrift stores, garage sales, etc. He tells me I take stuff to the local thrift shop and then go back later and buy it all over again. I am guilty as charged, your honor. How you feeling?
DORIS: I absolutely lov fried okra, not the kind you get in those restaurants. I like the home made kind where it is not individual pieces but all cooked together. Yum Yum. I say we all meet at CEDAR's and have a feast.
Hello to all and I shall BBL. Enjoying sister to the utmost, and she only has another week before flying home. I dread the thought as I enjoy her so much. She keeps me laughing constantly.
Rain Rain go away, come back another week.~~~Jsan

How good to see WILS, B4 and DORIStutu! Ha. Yes it is so great to have everyone together again. That CEDAR is a trip with her Baglady! rofl.
MIM: Were you under a different name before? Trying to search my memory for that name and it doesn't compute! ha. Twas nice to see SAVIKES still here. Talk about being faithful!
Hey, there are two birthdays in August. MD will be 39 on the 27th, and MAX will do the same on the 25th. Wanna say happy Birthday to both in case I don't get back.
Sister is here visiting from the great State of Georgia (Smile CEDAR). We went to see an outdoor drama last night in Cambridge, The Living Word. It was spectacular with life size set and superbly done costumes. Can't believe I have lived here over 18 years and never attended it.
Lets have a big grin everyone, felt a breath of Fall in the air this morning. Realize we have a ways to go, but it will be here before we know it. Keep the blankie handy. See yall later. ~~~Jsan
